One common use of our bolted and welded tanks is for fire protection of distribution centers and other large warehouses. The tanks are used to store water used by the fire sprinkler systems when the municipal water supply is insufficient for the fire suppression.
Alternatively, our storage tanks are used for protection against wildfires in remote areas such as National State Parks, County Parks and Wildlife Areas. Our bolted steel storage tanks work especially well for installation in isolated areas as they require only minimal work on site. Also, the need for welding and other hot work at the job site is eliminated, which is important in high fire danger areas.
In additional to closed top tanks, we also install open top tanks such as our Heli-Hydrant which can be used to refill firefighting helicopters via snorkel system without them having to land.
