IT Assistant
Location: Rosenberg, Texas
Pay: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What You’ll Do
- Help employees resolve technology issues in person, by phone, and through our IT ticketing system.
- Set up, configure, troubleshoot, and repair Windows computers, thin clients, printers, and mobile devices.
- Support software, applications, and shop-floor workstations.
- Set up technology for virtual meetings and training sessions.
- Track equipment and toner inventory and retire outdated computers.
- Work with the IT Coordinator and Network Administrator to resolve more complex issues.
Requirements
What You’ll Bring
- At least two years of IT support or service desk experience.
- Working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 in workgroup and domain environments.
- A patient, practical approach to troubleshooting and helping employees.
- Clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage changing priorities.
- A high school diploma or GED. An associate degree or IT certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Fundamentals, are a plus.
- Assemble, configure, and repair Windows-based computer workstations.
- Provide technical support to employees by telephone and in person, assisting with hardware, software, and general technology needs.
- Replace toner cartridges and maintain accurate inventory records for office and shop equipment.
- Coordinate the technical setup of virtual meetings and training sessions.
- Decommission and disassemble retired computer systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting shop-floor thin-client workstations.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network-connected and USB printers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with mobile devices.
- Install and configure computer hardware and software to support business operations.
- Escalate technical issues and service requests to the IT Coordinator and Network Administrator, as appropriate.

What You'll Do
As a Civil / Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and supporting large-scale infrastructure projects from concept through completion.
Responsibilities include:
- Design steel storage tanks, foundations, platforms, stair systems, and related structural components.
- Perform structural analysis and engineering calculations using applicable building codes and industry standards.
- Develop practical, cost-effective engineering solutions for municipal, commercial, agricultural, and industrial projects.
- Collaborate closely with drafting, project management, manufacturing, sales, and field operations.
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure quality, safety, and code compliance.
- Manage multiple engineering projects while meeting deadlines and project objectives.
- Provide technical support throughout fabrication, construction, and installation.
- Contribute innovative ideas that improve engineering processes and product performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- 5+ years of structural engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design principles.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- Experience with steel storage tanks, industrial structures, silos, or similar heavy industrial projects.
- Familiarity with applicable structural design codes and standards.
- Experience working in manufacturing or design-build environments.
