In areas affected by drought, storm water and wastewater recapture is becoming more common. Water districts and water intensive industries are installing ground storage tanks to store reclaimed water before they reuse or resell the water. By recovering storm water or wastewater, the demand for new water is decreased therefore helping to sustain water supplies for the future. Superior Tank manufactures and installs a wide variety of bolted and welded steel storage tanks. Our bolted steel tanks are perfect for storage of water for fire protection and additional potable water storage. As our bolted steel tanks install in 1/3 of the time of other designs, they can be erected before the approaching fire season. In addition, our bolted steel tanks are easy to install in remote and hard to access locations such as mountains and hilltops. This allows water to be stored in areas which currently do not have water service. Our bolted steel tanks also do not require welding or other “hot” work during installation, reducing the risk of fire in wilderness or rural areas. When redundant water supplies within a system are needed a bolted steel tank can be installed in close proximity to existing infrastructure without disrupting operations. To accommodate a variety of applications, bolted steel tanks range from 4,000 gallons to over 2,000,000 gallons and our welded steel tanks range up to 3,000,000 gallons.
